Voter Turnout & Ballot Tabulation by County

"It is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and to humbly implore His protection and favor." George Washington
As a concerned citizen and Values Voter, I am committed to stand for the values of life, faith and family during this election year. I am pledging to support candidates who uphold these bedrock values of:

  • Life
I will only vote for candidates who have committed to defend the sanctity of life from conception to natural death.

  • Family
I will only vote for candidates who stand for one-man, one-woman marriage and oppose efforts to undermine the nuclear family.

  • Faith
I will only vote for candidates who support the public acknowledgement of God and affirm the religious liberties of all Americans.

  • All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing. – Edmund Burke

    Evil:
    • Kill healthy babies at birth in Partial Birth Abortion
    • Redefine marriage to make it between same sexes
    • Make it a crime to pray, acknowledge God or read the Bible in public

Good verses Evil. Some things are non-negotiable.

We will elect people who will place judges over us who will:
legislate their own agenda from the bench
    or
    honor our foundations.

In God We Trust – an illegal decree from the past,
or a truth for the present.

Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord protects the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain. (Psalm 127:1)

Do we need His help? Terrorism or Trust, it’s our choice.

A Poem: The World That We Leave

November 2nd is coming with a political race.
The results will define what our children will face.

The terms of our presidents are only four years,
but life long appointments are the worst of our fears.

Our Supreme Court justices, in their seventies and eighties,
were the ones who invented the right to kill babies.

New judges may rule that same sexes can marry
if we leave their appointment up to John Kerry.

They'll further erode our country's foundation,
and continue to purge God from our nation,
activist judges who enforce their opinion
and fabricate laws with unbridled dominion.

John Kerry and John Edwards, both liberal lawyers,
can wreak as much havoc as any destroyers.

We can prudently turn from this danger and dread
by working to elect a good man instead.

We've arrived at the crossroads and stand on the brink.
Our choice will determine if we rise or we sink.

We cannot sit back and forfeit the fight.
We must diligently work for that which is right.

Value our heritage and work to restore
the freedoms we lost when we gave up before.

Vote wisely for leaders who know right from wrong
and uphold our core values that blessed us so long.

We must act to defend the truths we believe.
Our children will live in the world that we leave.

A Poem: The Salt and the Light

    We asked to register voters
at a table outside in the hall.
    But pastor said "Please, no promoters;
I want no involvement at all."

He said church must be only for teaching
the Bible and preaching good news.
    He didn’t want anyone seeking
to share guides with political views.

    The deacons too had decided.
They did not want to offend.
What if someone didn't like it?
We might never see them again.

I do understand their concern though.
People come here so they can receive
The life changing news of the Gospel,
to hear it, and then to believe.

We just can not be a deterrent.
We must show every soul that we care.
They are right that we each must be prudent.
But I’m also convinced that they err.

    Some pastors and congregations
    are really not even aware
That we need to defend our foundations,
    involvement coupled with prayer.

There are many good people who don't know,
not warned by well meaning pastors
On Election Day, no, they don't show,
as our nation heads for disaster.

    This public absenteeism
    and abridgement of Christianity
    Is related to secular Deism,
    more accurately called Churchianity.

I love our good pastors and deacons,
    They have my highest respect.
Our churches still shine as bright beacons,
even though they're far from perfect.

In our attempt to show people kindness,
and trying to be so polite
Our values, most precious and priceless,
we forfeit. We don’t even fight.

We must reach our dear brothers and sisters,
with patience and help them take part.
So every one of them registers,
gets involved, turns the tide and votes smart.

The battle around us is raging.
    Our values are under attack.
It's time that we all were engaging.
To win, we all must fight back.

Are we pleasing our Maker who called us,
to be the salt and the light
If the salt just stays in the shaker,
and we fail to vote for the right?

    Dereliction, neglect, abdication,
    all describe our civil behavior
If this is our faith’s application,
while claiming we’re serving our Savior.

Let's not leave it there, as if to despair.
Our troops have begun to rally.
Not only aware, moved to action and prayer,
Christian votes are affecting the tally.

The call has gone out with a passionate shout
from leaders such as James Dobson.
They see the devout, that now have such clout,
will turn out and will take this election.

Has not God already defined marriage?
Isn't He the giver of life?
Those judges are wrong who disparage His love,
and distain His gifts in their spite.

Please do vote for those who'll protect
the sanctity of all human Life.
and oppose the ones who will wreck,
Marriage as one husband and wife.

You do not need to wait for election day to vote. You may drive to your county elections office, pick up a ballot, vote, and drop it off early. This will insure that you vote if you forget or cannot make it on election day.

If only Christians would stand for what's right and vote for key moral values.
All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing.
